Agreement to these terms

By using this website, submitting a booking, making a payment or participating in a Sparkshift Solutions service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the relevant service.

You must be at least 18 years old to book independently. Where a service is arranged for a minor, the booking must be made or authorised by a parent, guardian or another person legally able to provide consent.

The nature of our services

Sparkshift Solutions provides family and relationship counseling plus guidance counseling for emotional, individual, behavioral, substance abuse, and addiction concerns. The exact scope, format and number of sessions depend on the service or package selected and any separate agreement made with you.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, our services do not replace medical diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, legal advice, financial advice or another regulated professional service. Results vary, and no particular personal, relationship or business outcome is guaranteed.

Bookings, scheduling and payments

• A booking request is subject to availability and is confirmed only when we accept it and any required payment has been successfully completed.
• Prices, package inclusions and available formats are displayed at the time of booking and may be updated for future purchases.
• Payments are processed through authorised third-party payment providers. You are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.
• For multi-session packages, session dates are coordinated after payment unless otherwise stated.
• You should arrive or connect on time. A late arrival may reduce the available session time.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Please contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any cancellation, missed-session, refund or package-expiry terms communicated on the booking page, invoice, confirmation message or service agreement form part of these terms. Where no separate term has been provided, we will assess reasonable requests fairly, taking account of notice given and costs already incurred.

We may reschedule a session because of counselor availability, safety, illness, technical failure or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Where we cannot provide a paid service, we will offer an appropriate reschedule, credit or refund for the affected portion.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, participate respectfully, protect access details and payment references, and use our website and services only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• harass, threaten or endanger a counselor, team member or another participant;
• record a private or group session without the prior permission of everyone involved;
• attempt to compromise the website, payment process, accounts or confidential information;
• copy, republish or commercially exploit our materials without permission; or
• misrepresent your identity, authority or payment status.

We may pause or end access where conduct is unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, abusive or outside the appropriate scope of our service.

Privacy and confidentiality

We treat counseling and coaching communications with care and confidentiality. Confidentiality is not absolute and may be limited where disclosure is required by law, necessary to address a serious risk of harm, connected with safeguarding, needed to obtain confidential professional supervision, or otherwise permitted under an applicable professional or service agreement.

Group and joint sessions involve other participants. We ask every participant to respect privacy, but we cannot guarantee the conduct of people who are not under our control.

Website content and intellectual property

Website text, graphics, branding, articles, worksheets, session materials and other original content are owned by or licensed to Sparkshift Solutions and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use materials provided to you for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Website information is provided for general educational purposes and may not reflect your particular circumstances. Links to third-party services do not amount to an endorsement or make us responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Availability and limitation of liability

We aim to keep the website and services available, secure and accurate, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sparkshift Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website downtime, third-party platforms, unauthorised use outside our reasonable control, or reliance on general website content.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits any consumer right that applies to you under Nigerian law.

Changes, severability and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply from the date the revised terms are published, except where a different effective date is stated. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We encourage you to contact us first so that concerns can be resolved informally where possible. Any unresolved dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Nigeria.
